About Aquila Path

Built from pathology. Focused on the decisions that follow.

Built by physicians and grounded in more than a decade of pathology experience, Aquila Path is developing outcome-linked tissue intelligence for more informed prostate cancer decisions.

Clearer biological context for the decisions
that follow

Routine pathology reveals cancer. Understanding how the disease may behave is more complex. Aquila Path was created to connect patterns within routine prostate tissue to longitudinal outcomes, helping clinicians develop a more informed view of biological risk.

Our goal is not to replace established pathology or physician judgment. It is to provide greater biological context for the conversations, evaluations, and care decisions that follow.

Purpose

To bring greater clarity, evidence, and confidence to precision oncology decisions.

Mission

To transform the rich information in routine pathology into clinically meaningful tissue intelligence.

A Physician-Led Beginning

The question began in clinical practice

Aquila Path began with a question encountered in prostate cancer care: how could the biological information already present in routine tissue be interpreted with greater consistency, context, and clinical relevance?

That question shaped the company from the beginning. Practicing pathologists, urologists, and oncology experts continue to guide how the technology is developed, validated, reported, and considered in practice.

Real clinical questions

Development begins with the decisions physicians and patients face.

Physician-led development

Clinical relevance shapes the technology, evidence strategy, and reporting experience.

Judgment remains central

TruGrade™ is designed to complement conventional pathology and physician-led evaluation.

Our Origin

A decade of pathology heritage

Aquila Path was established within the PathNet laboratory ecosystem, drawing on more than a decade of experience in specialty pathology, digital whole-slide imaging, laboratory operations, and collaboration with independent urology practices.

PathNet provides the clinical expertise and infrastructure. Aquila Path builds on that foundation to develop AI-enabled diagnostic and prognostic technologies using pathology images and de-identified longitudinal outcomes. Together, this connection keeps the technology grounded in real laboratory workflows, clinical decisions, and the needs of physicians in practice.
